With the 19 year of extensive journey and experience of Imam Medical Center (IMC), its board of governors (The Think Tank) realized that, in future, education and training will be central to delivering and developing skilled human capital. It, therefore, be addressed and take initiative to develop skilled human capital especially in paramedical field. The training quality beside, must be of an excellent standard, meet the requirements of the contemporary regulatory and strategic framework and encourage widening participation. The Imam Medical Center has taken step to establish Imam Paramedical Institute, Jacobabad in order to develop skilled human resource in paramedical field. Paramedics are now delivering care and treatments that would have only been undertaken by doctors ten years ago. We hope that this work will support this development.
The Imam Paramedical Institute (IPI) has been conceived to impart world class education in the medical/allied sciences, to manage and open hospitals/diagnostic centers, holding free medical camps, giving scholarships to poor needy students and to provide help to persons affected by natural calamities like earthquake, flood, etc. In country like Pakistan where there is a high rate of unemployment these courses are designed to provide immediate employment to the candidates. The IPI unlike other institutes has its own equipments like CT scan, X-Ray, and ECG for practical training of its students. IPI is a recognized institute of Imam Medical Center, Jacobabad.
